Entry Details & Specifications

Selected artists will receive a 3D wooden butterfly to transform into their own masterpiece. At the end of the event the completed butterflies will be installed together to create a beautiful community sculptural butterfly installation. Limited butterflies available, reserve your spot today! 

 

Artists must be 18 years or older, and live or work in Southeast Michigan. Artwork must be able to weather outdoor conditions in all seasons in a populated, walkable area. Paint will be provided.

• July 20th submission deadline

• June 21st acceptance notifications

​

• July 23rd: 6PM - 8PM. : Accepted artists can join us at the butterfly design station located in the Village Plaza to complete their artwork live during the Music on the Plaza event.

 

Paint will be provided. ​

Installations will be made, weather permitting, mid August. 

​
