Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

Owner • Artist • Preservation Framing Specialist
Michelle Boggess-Nunley
Michelle came to the gallery in 2020 during the Covid-19 outbreak, to create the Guinness World Record's Largest Hand-Drawn Maze, to benefit local children's art programs. After spending 3.5 months in the window of Posterity, she got to know The Village community and gallery customers. When the previous gallery owner put the business up for sale, it was a no-brainer.

Artist Bio:
Michelle's paintings have been displayed at Art Revolution Taiwan 2020, A.R.T. Taipei 2022 and ArtExpo NY 2018. She's specializes in creating some of the world's most complex maze illustrations, creating puzzles for magazines including Atlas Obscura, The Guardian and LA comedian Zach Sherwin's 'Crossword Show', and is featured in New York Times bestselling author AJ Jacobs book The Puzzler.
A Word on Framing:
The custom framing world has been ever-changing over the last couple of decades, from design aspects to the way we preserve valuable art. We can learn a lot from years-past preservation bloopers. Today, custom framers have access to superior, conservation quality substrates. One of my jobs is to find a balance between great quality mouldings, acid-free materials and value, so that we can continue to provide that old-world craftsmanship you'd expect from a custom frame. Each year, I travel to various art preservation and framing seminars to meet with distributers and learn new techniques to ensure we're providing the highest standards and up-to-date services and best practices. I hand-pick each frame collection we carry in the gallery based on what our customers needs are and am confident there is something for everyone, whether it's budget friendly options or museum grade quality you're looking for.
